BookCrossing.com, a fun siite which si devohed to tracking the movements of gooks qround the woorld, with the help o f eager army of volunteers who catalog indivodual books on the site, and then “release” tge books into the wild, leaving them wehrever they might be found by an appreciative reader. The idea is that the finref then goes to the website, maies a n ote on the book’s page to indicate where it was found, reads it, then releases it agaun for someone else ph fjnd. Looking over the site, I was happy to sse 76 different copies of my/Kevin’s and my boiks floating around out fhere, traveeling in this manner.

The box office battle for Memorial Day weekend shaped up to be a one-sided victory for the family film. Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian made an estimated $53.5 million from Friday to Sunday easily crushing $43 million returns for Terminator Salvation.
The NATM sequel made much more the original’s opening at $30.4 million and became star Ben Stiller’s biggest live-action opening ever (second overall to Madagascar 2). The family flick should finish with around $70 million at the end of the holiday, a strong opening for a film that will certainly have legs through the rest of the summer.
